The first World Bowling Tour event in the American Zone outside of the United States, the Bahamas International Bowling Classic 2012, has changed the dates. The inaugural event, which was scheduled for Feb. 27-March 4, will now be held May 14-20 at Mario's Bowling and Entertainment Palace, a new 50-lane bowling center in Nassau. The 2012 World Bowling Tour currently features 14 tournaments in ten countries.

In the men's final, Koivuniemi defeated Sean Rash of Montgomery, Ill., 237-224, while Dorin-Ballard defeated Sandra Andersson of Sweden, 207-162 for the women's title. The winners took $10,000 each.

Maximum four girls and four boys per country, who must be born between Jan. 1st, 1991 and Dec. 31st, 1998, will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, four-player Teams, All Events and Masters in the 10-day competition.
