The 2010 European Bowling Tour men's ranking had a 1474 six-game series, an average of 245.67, and leads total 48 players of the 228 -player field from 19 countries into Sunday's finals.

Andersson led Squad 16 with 1474 to move to the top but Barrett took over the lead one squad later by just one pin with 1475 (245.83 Ave.). Qualifying ends on Saturday, July 9 with Squads 19-22 followed by the Desperado Squad on Sunday morning at 12.30 a.m.

Thomas Larsen shoots 810 series to move to the top of the leaderboard in San Marino

Mika Koivuniemi, Adrian Ang achieve perfection; cut for 38th place is 1287 (214.5 ave.)

Thomas Larsen (pictured) of Denmark moved to the top of the leaderboard closing out his 1464 series with 810 for the last three games. Total six players from Thursday's squads 12, 13 and 14 cracked the top 12 in the overall qualifying standings. Adian Ang, Malaysia, and PBA Player of the Year Mika Koivuniemi, Finland rolled the tournament's second and third 300 game.

Racpan led Squad 9 with 1372 six-game total and an average of 228.67 en route to jump into sixth place in the overall qualifying standings. Antonio Maddaloni (r.), Italy, leads the 175-player field with 1461 (243.50).

French bowlers lead Monday squads at 7th Storm San Marino Open to crack the top 10

Gaillard, Frouvelle shoot 1347 and 1394; cut for 38th place is now 1204 (200.67)

Three Italian bowlers, Antonio Maddaloni, Maurizio Celli and Davide Spagnoli held on to the qualifying lead after six of 22 squads. The cut for 38th place rose from 1155 to 1204, a 200.67 average.

Italians sets the pace in qualifying after the first weekend at San Marino Open

Antonio Maddaloni leads field of 70 with 1461; Tommaso Radi shoots first 300 game

The long-time Italian national team member totaled 1461, an average of 243.50, in Squad 2 to lead a field of 70 players from six countries. Tommaso Radi (r.), Italy, had the tournament's first 300 game in the second game of Squad 2. Qualifying continues on Monday, July 4, with Squads 5 and 6.

Mik Stampe leads top 32 into the finals of the Odense International

As the qualifying leader Stampe will start the finals with 140 bonus pins. The Danish national champion beat out previous leader Paul Stott Jr. (r.), Ireland, for the top spot by two pins.

Britt Brøndsted moves into second place in Odense International

The former World Ranking Masters champion is the best of 17 women in the 95-player field from six countries and one of four women above the cut line (26th place). Paul Stott Jr. (r.), who had a 1441 six-game series in Squad 7, held on to the lead.

Ireland's Paul Stott shoots into qualifying lead at Odense International

Becomes the first player who surpasses the 1400-mark; cut for 26th place is 1228

Stott started and finished his series with 212 games. In games 2-5, Stott had games of 267, 256 and back-to-back 247s (1017) en route to overtake previous leader Mik Stampe (r.), Denmark, by 85 pins.

Squad 6 leaders Klitte, Thorstensen move into second and fourth place at Odense International

Klitte totaled 1351 and Thorstensen checked in with 1333. Danish champion Mik Stampe (r.) retained the lead with 1356 (226 average). Qualifying reaches the halfway point on Thursday.

Mik Stampe overtakes the lead in Odense International after Squad 5 of 13

Danish champion leads with 1356; cut for 26th place is 1182

2011EBT10MikStampe_small.jpgDanish champion Mik Stampe (pictured) overtook the lead in the qualifying of the Odense International in Squad 5 Tuesday evening at Odense Bowling Center in Odense, Denmark. Fresh off a third place finish in Aalborg last weekend, Stampe rolled games of 256, 243, 214, 255 and 206 and despite finishing with a 182 low game he beat out previous leader Mathias S. Madsen for the top spot by eight pins. Stampe leads the field of 63 players after five of 13 squads with 1356 six-game total and an average of 226.

Rasmus Ussing wins Squad 4 to move into second place at Odense International

After a sluggish start to the day with 176 and 190, Rasmus Ussing (pictured), Denmark, put together 257, 233, 210 and 254 to win the squad and to move into second place in the overall qualifying standings with 1320 six-game total and an average of 220. Mathias S. Madsen, Denmark, held on to the lead with 1348.

Mathias S. Madsen averaged 224.67 in Squad 2 to overtake the early lead with 1348 six-game total. Trailing Madsen by 49 pins to sit in second place was Lars Linder with 1299. As the third qualifying squad has been cancelled Madsen and Linder have already secured their spots for the finals.

Osku Palermaa wins tenth career EBT title in Bowltech Aalborg International 2011

Finnish two-hander earns 9.000 Euro and widens his lead in EBT ranking

Palermaa overtook the lead in the third round averaging 251.25 for four games and closed things out with a 1350 six-game series to finish with 2355 ten-game total. He received 9.000 Euro. Rikke Holm Agerbo, Denmark, was second with 2226 ito earn 5.000 Euro and to win the women's ranking.

Martin Larsen wins qualifying in Aalborg; earns 1.000 Euro bonus

135-player field is cut to 48; cut for 28th place is 1306

Martin Larsen (pictured) of Sweden remained unchallenged during the last three squads on Saturday and won the qualifying with 1487 six-game total and an average of 247.83. Björn Einer Rudshagen, Norway, beat out compatriot Svein Åke Ek for the 38th and last place by one pin with 1306 or an average of 217.67.

After 11 of 14 qualifying squads, Martin Larsen, Sweden, holds on to the lead with 1487.

Kim Brøndsted wins his second consecutive qualifying squad in Aalborg

The Dane, who started the day in third place in the overall qualifying standings with 1313 six-game total improved by three pins in Squad 5 of 14 but remained in third place with 1316. Brøndsted beat out compatriot Michael Ankerdal for the top spot by eight pins. Ankerdal moved into fourth place overall with 1308.

Kim Brøndsted (pictured) led the squad with 1313 six-game total, an average of 218.83, to leap into third place in the overall qualifying standings. With 59 players - 58 Danes and one Norwegian - in the books, Squad 3 leaders Charlotte B. Madsen and Mai Ginge Jensen set the pace with 1363 and 1351, respectively.
