El Salvador's Angel OrtÃz and Sofia Granda of Guatemala were crowned men's and women's Masters champions of the Cambowl Mayor 2006 at Galaxy Bowling in San Salvador, El Salvador. The men's team of the host country claimed the country all events title, while Granda and her team mates were unchallenged in the women's division.

Men's Doubles champion Diego Rojas and Viviana Delgado averaged 211,83 over six games en route to cruise to victory in the Mixed Doubles event at the Cambowl Mayor 2006 in El Salvador. Two-time women's champion Sofia Granda of Guatemala and Mauricio Piñol earned ssilver, while El Salvador's Julio Acosta Espinoza and Elizabeth Acosta took bronze.

Guatemala swept the gold medals in the men's and women's Trios event at the Cambowl Mayor 2006. Sofia Granda teamed with Melannie Maul and Liz De Castillo to win her third gold medal with 3254 six-game total and an average of 180,78. On the men's side, Andrés Herrera, Miguel Méndez and Mauricio Piñol (pictured) topped Costa Rica by five pins to win the gold medal with 3509 and an average of 194,94.

Marco Odio and Diego Rojas of Costa Rica and Guatemala's Melannie Maul and Sofia Granda claimed the second gold medal for their countries in the men's and women's doubles competition at the Campeonato de Centroamérica y México Mayor de Bowling - Cambowl Mayor 2006 in El Salvador. 
The Campeonato de Centroamérica y México Mayor de Bowling (Cambowl Mayor 2006) was officially declared open on Monday afternoon by Jose Guandique (pictured), President of the American Zone and of the National Bowling Federation of El Salvador. Sofia Granda of Guatemala and Angel Moreno, Costa Rica, started the American Zone ranking event for the Central Region with victory in the women's and men's singles.
