2006CAMBOWLJuniorLogo.jpg Alberto Lizano, Costa Rica (Boys Under 21) and Mexicans Miriam Aseret Zetter Velasco (Girls U21), Diego Ivan Lozano Trevino (Boys U15) and Jimena Martinez Vazquez (Girls U15) ended the 2006 CAMBOWL Junior at CRTC Bowling Center in San José, Costa Rica, with victory in the Masters competition.

Costa Rica's Lizano wins gold in Boys Under 21 All Events

Mexicans Contreras, Gastelum, Alvarez win the other divisions

2006CAMBOWLJuniorU21AEAlbertoLizano.jpg Alberto Lizano from Costa Rica became the sole non-Mexican All Events champion in the 2006 CAMBOWL Junior in San José. Lizano posted the tournament-high 199,40 average over 25 games to win in the Boys Under 21 Division. The three Mexicans titlists were Patricia Contreras Aviles, Marco Ariel Gastelum Olea and Pamela Cristina Alvarez. The top 8 players in each division advanced to the Masters finals.

Mexican U21 and U15 Boys and Girls sweep gold medals in team events

2006CAMBOWLJuniorLogo.jpg The Mexican Under 21 and Under 15 boys and girls national squads continued their winning streak in the 2006 CAMBOWL Junior in Costa Rica when they captured all four gold medals in the boys and girls four-player team event. Guatemala, El Salvador and the host country shared the silver and bronze medals.

L-R Paola Rodriguez, Miguel Angel Romero, Aseret Zetter and Juan Diego Quintanilla led the Under 21 Division while Ana Rosa Gamboa, Jimena Martinez, Diego Lozano and Andre Fors captured the Under 15 title.

Mexico sweeps gold medals in Mixed Doubles event at CAMBOWL Junior

Aseret Zetter and Jose Carlos Viruete (pictured) totaled 1941 to win the Under 21 Division, while Pamela Alvarez and Marco Gastelum led the in the Under 15 Division with 1479 4-agem total and an average of 184,88.

Mexico wins another three gold medals in doubles at CAMBOWL Junior

Daniel Intriago/Marco Gastelum and Pamela Alvarez/Ana Rosa Gamboa swept the boys and girls Doubles titles in the Under 15 division and Patricia Contreras/Emma Castro won the title in the Girls Under 21 Division. Alberto Lizano/Diego Rojas (pictured) won the first gold medal for the host country of Costa Rica in the Boys Under 21 Doubles.

Mexico gets off to great start in 2006 CAMBOWL Junior

Guatemala's Jorge Samayoa (pictured) became the sole non-Mexican titlist in the Boys Under 21 division.
