Host center for 2012 European Champions Cup ceases operations

The Dutch Bowling Federation (NBF), host federation of the 2012 European Champions Cup, has announced that the host center, Bowling Zuiderpark in The Hague, ceased operations due to financial reasons.
This means that the ECC 2012 schedule3d for Oct. 15-22 cannot be conducted at Bowling Zuiderpark as announced by the organizing committee in the bulletin. 42 member federations of the European Tenpin Bowling Federation had confirmed participation in the ECC.
NBF's Bettina Lund (right) stated that this situation is "out of our control and not one that we had expected at any time during the preparation period. However, we are already far in our search of an alternative and are confident that we will be able to announce the new venue on a very short term basis.ā€¯
