Ciminelli, Rash, Fagan hold the top three qualifying spots as of Friday 11 a.m. in Bangkok

The PBA bowlers took control of the leaderboard in the World Bowling Tour Thailand currently underway at Blu-O-Paragon bowling center in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ryan Ciminelli (pictured left), United States, continued to lead the field of only 64 players from 14 countries with 2187 total and an average of 243 for nine games. The one-time PBA titlist had high three-game series of 743, 730 and 714.
Reigning PBA Player of the Year Sean Rash, United States, remained in second place with 2171 including high series of 750, 719 and 702.
Four-time PBA champion Mike Fagan (right), United States, is looking for his second international PBA title after the Brunswick Euro Challenge in March. Fagan, who finished second in Thailand last year, posted the highest series of this year's event with 772 (257.22 average) and added 731 and 647 to leap into third place with 2150.
Chris Loschetter, United States, was the fourth PBAer in the top 7, who will bypass the first two rounds of the finals, in fifth place with 2097.
Four-time PBA champion Jason Belmonte (left) of Australia, the defending champion, was 11th with 2085 and was followed by the first woman PBA member and the first woman to win two PBA regional titles, Missy Parkin, United States, who used eight pins handicap to sit in 12th place with 2083.
Two-time PBA Player of the Year, Mika Koivuniemi (right) of Finland was 13th with 2079 with three-time PBA champion Rhino Page, United States, in 14ht place with 2077 and 2012 USBC Queens winner Diandra Asbaty, United States, in 16th place with 2060 including handicap.
Jo Nam-Yi of Korea currently holds the 38th and last place to advance with 1909 and an average of 212.11.
The World Bowling Tour Thailand 2012 will be held from Sept. 24 through Oct. 1, 2012 at Blu-O-Paragon bowling center in Bangkok, Thailand. The tournament is the 10th stop of the 2012 World Bowling Tour. and offers total prize fund of 4.215 million Baht or approx. 132,000 USD with 1 million Baht ($32,250) going to the winner and 500.000 Baht to the runner-up.
The World Bowling Tour Thailand 2012 will also award a PBA Tour title if won by PBA member or a PBA International member.
Qualifying (Three highest three-game series, unlimited re-entries) runs from Tuesday, Sept. 25 through Saturday, Sept. 30 with the last squad scheduled for 9 p.m. local time. Qualifying concludes with the Desperado Squad scheduled for 10 p.m. Women receive eight pins handicap each game throughout the entire tournament.

After the Bahamas Classic has been postponed and the Daejeon International Open 2012 in Korea has lost its WBT status, the 2012 World Bowling Tour consists of 12 tournaments in America, Asia, Europe and Australia - five in the United States and one each in Australia, Austria, Finland, France, Japan, Kuwait and Thailand.
Players earn ranking points based on how they finish in each event. The current points system is based on a continuous two-year cycle, so points earned in 2012 will be added to points earned in 2011 to determine the points list.
The top three men and top three women will be invited to compete in the World Bowling Tour Finals presented by the Professional Bowlers Association at the end of 2012 featuring total prize fund of $70,000.

- the next 29 players in the overall standings seeded 10-38 (10-24 receive one bye)
