Williams/Froggatt win Macclesfield Grand Prix Doubles

Burrows and Jowsey earn maximum ranking points

Stuart Williams and Nick Froggatt won the annual doubles event at AMF Macclesfield with a 2648 total, just holding off the Jo Harries and Darren Cundy pairing who totaled 2574. Third were Rob Thurlby & Jon Zadel on 2557.

Brunswick Team England maximum points went to Lee Burrows who rolled a 236.3 average in qualifying, a massive 1891 over 8 games and with a winning margin of 184 pins over Richard Gregson in second. Matt Chamberlain was third. In the ladies Katie Jowsey (1665) led the way over Emma Manning (1622) and Jo Harries (1619).
