2008 PABCON Senior Championships gets underway with "Seminar on Lane Play"

The 2008 Pan American Bowling Confederation (PABCON) Senior Championships started on Sunday, September 7, with a "Seminar on Lane Play" organized by Kegel and PABCON that was held by 2-time PBA champion and USBC gold level coach Del Warren.
This seminar, which was held in English and Spanish, was free of charge for all persons (bowlers, coaches, delegates and leaders) involved in the championships.
The competition begins on Monday with the technical meeting, the Opening Ceremonies, the official practice and a Welcome Party, all at Cibao Bowling Center (pictured), a 24-laner in Santiago de los Caballeros, the second largest city (after Santo Domingo) in the Dominican Republic located in the North-central region known as Cibao valley.
10 countries - Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panamá, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, United States, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic - with maximum four men and four women will compete in Singles, Doubles, Trios and four-player Team event (six games each) from Sep. 9-12.
The 2008 PABCON Senior Championships will conclude on Saturday, Sep. 13, with the men's and women's Masters finals.
