Mexico and Guatemala share the gold medals in Singles at CONCABA CAMBOWL Junior

88 players - 46 boys and 42 girls - from six countries, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama participate in the CONCABA CAMBOWL Junior U-15 and U-21 championships at Metro Bowl in Guatemala City.

Boys and girls compete in two categories, under 15 and under 21 years, in Singles, Doubles, Mixed Foursome, team and Masters.

2007CAMBOWLJuniorAndreFors.jpg Mexico and the host country shared the gold medals in Singles on Day One, as Pamela Monzon and Laura Barrios from Guatemala and Mexicans Andre Fors and Manuel Arencibia earned the girls and boys sub-15 and sub-21 titles, respectively.

2007CambowlJuniorU15GirlsSinglesPamelaMonzon.jpg Fors (pictured left) rolled a 1295 six-game series, the highest of all players, to win the gold medal in the Boys sub-15 division. His compatriot Arencibia felled 1268 to lead the Sub 21 division.

On the girls side, Pamela Monzon (pictured right) topped the Sub-15 division, while Laura Barrios posted the highest series by a girl with 1141 to claim the title in the sub-21 division.
