After the 18-game preliminaries, Oren, 24, from Netanya, was seeded 8th spot for the 12-player single-elimination finals. He sidelined Aviv Alfital, Liad Leshem and No. 1 seeded Or Aviram to claim the men's title.

    16-year-old Levy from Gan-Shmuel, seeded 1st, stunned Israel's 2006 BWC representative, Mor Aviram, the No. 2 seed, with a 2-1 victory (184-148, 166-170, 189-170) in the best-of-three game women's finals.

Both players will make their debut in the 44th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup, which will be staged from November 7-15, 2008 in Hermosillo, Mexico.
