Ann-Maree Putney wins Australian Women's World Team Rolloff

2009WBWHoFAnnMareePutney.jpg1999 World Championships Masters champion and 2007 Bowling World Cup winner Ann-Maree Putney (pictured left) won the Australian Women's World Team Rolloff at AMF Keon Park. Putney averaged 212.67 over the final six-game qualifying block to win the trials with 260 points.

The top six out of 10 players made the team. Second place went to Carol Gianotti. The former Professional Women's Bowling Association champion received 200 points. Third place belonged to fellow PWBAer and 1998 Bowling World Champion Maxine Nable with 170 points.

Rounding out the Australian Team for the Women’s World Championships at Cashman Center in Las Vegas, Nev., United States (July 24-Aug. 3, 2009) were Natalie Shelley, Kara Triulcio and Bianca Flanagan.
