Team USA's Carolyn Dorin-Ballard, Liz Johnson and World Singles Champion Stefanie Nation fired the highest game of the Trios event at the Women's World Championships to defeat Japan, 742-659 in the semifnals. Yang Hao-Ting, Tsai Hsin-Yi and Tang Ya-Chun from Chinese Taipei set up a title match against the Americans when they topped Denmark in the other semifinal, 610-605.
