Video #11 - 2009 WWC Team Finals - Title Match between Korea and the United States
08/17/09
Like in the 2008 Men's World Championship, the teams from Korea and the United States faced off in the gold medal match of the 2009 Women's World Championships in Las Vegas. Ditto for the position after preliminaries. Korea was the No. 1 and Team USA the No. 2. The question was: Would the U.S. team win its first team gold (doubles, trios and team) since 1987 or would the Koreans extend the winning streak for Asian women teams at World Championships to sixth in a row - Australia (1995), Korea (1999), Malaysia (2003), Chinese Taipei (2005) and Malaysia (2007)?? Here is the answer.
