Multiple World and European champion Zara Giles (nee Glover, pictured), England, set the pace in the first block of the women's qualifying in the 45th QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup on Monday morning at Melaka International Bowling Center in Melaka, Malaysia. Giles, who finished third in last year's World Cup in Hermosillo, Mexico, felled 1805 pins over eight games, an average of 225.63.
