Shaker Al-Hassan flies past his opponents to win ABF Tour Bahrain leg
05/09/10

Shaker Al-Hassan (pictured left9 cruised to the title in the Asian Bowling Federation Tour Bahrain leg Sunday at Funland Bowling Center in Manama, Bahrain. In the title match the UAE international flew past Yousif Falah (right), Bahrain, 279-175, to claim his fourth career title on the Tour.
In the semifinal, Al-Hassan topped Ryan Lalisang, Indonesia, by 99 pins, 267-168, while Falah defeated his compatriot Fawaz Abdulla, Bahrain, 229-211.
Al-Hassan, who finished 19th in the qualifying event, the 9th Kingdom of Bahrain International Bowling Championship, advanced to the 16-player Bahrain leg because all European and American bowlers - three Englishmen and three U.S. Americans, who finished in the top 18 - were not eligible to bowl on the ABF Tour.
The sixth ABF Tour leg will be contested in Macau, China, on July 4th, 2010 immediately following the 2nd Macau China International Open.
