2010 Men's World Championship will feature record 69 countries

Entry deadline has been extended until June 15, 2010
The World Tenpin Bowling Association and the host federation, German Bowling Union (DBU) have informed that the extended entry period for the 2010 Men's World Championship is over.
Record 69 countries have submitted entry forms for more than 380 players, who will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in Singles, Doubles, Trios, Team, All-Events and Masters from Aug. 11 through 22, 2010.
Those 69 countries are: Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Catalonia, China, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, UAE, United States, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Wales, and the host country of Germany.
The 2010 MWC will be staged at Dream-Bowl Palace, a state-of-the-art 52-laner in Unterföhring, a suburb of the city of Munich, close to Munich International Airport. Dream-Bowl Palace is the biggest bowling center in Europe and opened its doors on December 15th, 2009.
