2010MWCTriosTeamUSA.jpg356 players from 65 countries competed in the 2010 WTBA Men's World Championships at Dream-Bowl Palace in Unterföhring Germany for gold, silver and bronze medals in six events - Singles, Doubles, Trios, five-player Team, All Events and Masters.

The six Team USA members (pictured left) dominated the Championships like no other country before in the history of the modern game. Bill O'Neill (Singles, Team, All Events), Chris Barnes (Team, Masters), Rhino Page (Trios, Team), Patrick Allen (Trios, Team), Wes Malott (Trios, Team), and Tommy Jones (Team) won all but one gold medal plus 2 silver and 4 bronze medals, a total of 11 out of 23 medals.

2010MWCMartinPaulssonMathiasArup.jpgO'Neil led the individual medals tally with three gold and one bronze. Barnes claimed the most medals by receiving 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Nine countries shared the remaining 12 medals. The sixth gold medal went to Mathias Ã…rup and Martin Paulsson (right, l-r), who captured the title in the Doubles competition. Just two countries other than the United States earned more than one medal. Korea got 1 silver and two bronze and the host country of Germany earned two bronze medals.

Malaysia, Mexico and Finland walked a way with a silver medal each, while England, Chinese Taipei and Colombia brought home one bronze medal each.
