In the men's final, 2009 CONCECABOL Masters champion Valiente, seeded seventh, made quick work of No. 4 Ricardo Lecuona, Mexico, two-games-to-none, to become the first player in CONCECABOL history to successfully defend the Masters title.

Restrepo, the No. 1 seed after winning the women's All Events title, lost the first game of the title match against Singles champion Aseret Zetter, seeded second, 216-289, but rebounded with back-to-back wins to capture the title, 2-1.

32 bowlers from eight countries - two men and two women each from Aruba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the host country Guatemala participated in the 2011 CONCECABOL (Central and Caribbean Bowling Confederation) Adult Championships from March 19-26.

They competed for gold, silver and bronze medals in eleven disciplines, men's and women's Singles, Doubles, All Events and Masters as well as Mixed Doubles, Mixed Foursomes and Country All Events.

The Colombians earned gold in Country All Events, Mixed Foursome and men's Doubles, Restrepo added the titles in women's All Events and Masters while Meija claimed gold in men's Singles  (including the sole 300 game of the Championships) and All Events.

Aumi Guerra (pictured left) of the Dominican Republic, a three-time CONCECABOL champion in 2009 (Singles, Doubles, All Events) teamed with Paula Vilas and Manuel Fernandez to win another two gold medals in women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles. The Dominicans also took back home one silver and four bronze medals.

Mexico won the most medals of all countries (11) but only one title (Zetter, women's Singles) plus seven silver and three bronze. Besides Valiente's gold medal Puerto Rican bowlers earned one silver and three bronze.

The host country captured two silver medals. Sofia Granda (above right) missed the gold medal in women Singles by five pins and teamed with Armando Batres to land in second place in Mixed Doubles.
