Ong and Armein are the 2006 Asian Rankings champions

After the ranking points given for the QubicaAMF World Cup were finally added Ong maintained a slim 8-point lead in the men's rankings while Armein held a dominating 135-point lead in the women's rankings.

Ong and Armein continue to lead 2006 Asian Rankings

The top 8 men and women will qualify for the 2007 World Ranking Masters in Doha, Qatar.

Two-time Asian Championships gold medalist Putty Armein (right) from Indonesia held onto lead the women's rankings.

Armein and Siu Hong overtake lead in 2006 Asian Rankings

New leaders in 2006 Asian Rankings

Choy Poh Lai.jpg With the results from the 3rd Commonwealth Championship in Melbourne, Australia in the books, Surasak Manuwong, Thailand and Choy Poh Lai (pictured), Malaysia, became the new leaders in the men's and women's Asian Rankings. The top eight at the end of the season will qualify for the 2007 World Ranking Masters in Qatar.

Based on the latest rankings list released for the first half of the year on June 1, Zulmazran is ranked as the number one men bowler in the Asian region for the first time in his bowling career.

Malaysians dominate 2006 Asian Rankings
