Shaheen and Zulkifli first ranking champions in Asia

Ahmed Shaheen, Qatar, and Shalin Zulkifli, Malaysia, became the first ranking champions in Asia, Shaheen, the reigning World Championships Masters champion, finished the inaugural men's ranking season with 451 points, Zulkifli had a slim 4-point lead over Kim Min-Jung, Korea, with 639 to 635 points. The top 8 men and top 8 women are qualified for the inaugural World Ranking Masters.
