Gery Verbruggen and Kamilla Kjeldsen win inaugural European ranking season

Belgium's Gery Verbruggen and Kamilla Kjeldsen of Denmark won the first ever men's and women's European rankings. Verbruggen led the men's division after nine events with 78 points, seven points ahead of Finn Mika Luoto. On the women's side, Kjeldsen accumulated 149 points to outdistance second-placed Martina Beckel, Germany, by 58 points.
