Three in a row for Paul Moor, wins 2006 men's European Rankings
European Rankings after 20 Events - Final Standings
Paul Moor from England has won the European rankings for the third consecutive year. Kungsbacka champion Osku Palermaa from Finland came up strong but fell 16 points short to finish second. Runner-up Peter Ljung, Sweden, ended up third. Rounding out the top 8 and joining those three in the 2007 World Ranking Masters in Qatar are 4. Stuart Williams, England 5. Martin Larsen, Sweden 6. Thomas Gross, Austria 7. Jason Belmonte, Australia and 8. Kai Virtanen, Finland.

Brøndsted follows in Moor's footprints, wins third consecutive ranking title
European Rankings after 20 Events - Final Standings

Two-time defending European women's ranking champion
Britt Brøndsted won the women's rankings in the Kungsbacka Int'l en route to overtake previous leader Zara Glover, England, and to win the third consecutive ranking title. Joining those two in the 2007 World Ranking Masters in Qatar are Swedes Nina Flack (3rd), Helen Johnson (5th) and Anna Mattsson-Baard (6th) as well as Isabelle Saldjian, France (4th), Patricia Schwarz, Germany, (7th) and Ivonne Gross, Austria (8th).

Moor needs eight points to defend men's ranking title, women's lead changes again
European Rankings after 19/20 Events

With his victory in Naples,
Paul Moor from England almost secured his third consecutive European ranking title. The lefty has 653 points and is 92 points ahead of second-placed Osku Palermaa. Thanks to a 3rd place finish in the women's rankings in Naples, Moor's compatriot
Zara Glover regained the lead in the women's division.

Two-time defending ranking champion
Britt Bröndsted from Denmark regained the lead in the women's European rankings. Vienna Open runner-up
Osku Palermaa, Finland, improved one spot into second place with 521 points and narrowed the gap to leader Paul Moor, England, to 32 pins.

ETBF revises European Rankings without event detail

The European Tenpin Bowling Federation must have revised the men's rankings. The changes influenced the top 8, who will qualify for the 2007 World Ranking Masters in Qatar.

English bowlers atop the men's and women's European Rankings
European Rankings after 17/20 Events

After the conclusion of the San Marino Open, the 17th out of 20 tournaments of the 2006 European Bowling Tour,
Paul Moor and
Zara Glover, both from England, sit atop the men's and women's European rankings. With her victory in San Marino, Glover earned 100 points to move past two-time defending champion Britt Bröndsted, Denmark.

Palermaa and Glover narrow the gap in European Point Rankings
European Rankings after 15/20 Events
Osku Palermaa from Finland and
Zara Glover from England and narrowed the gap to the men's and women's ranking leaders by finishing eighth and fourth, respectively, in the men's and women's rankings of the Viernheim Open, the 15th stop of the 2006 European Bowling Tour and one of the tour's majors.

Osku Palermaa, Finland, remained 1-3 in the men's 2006 European rankings after the conclusion of the Olympia Tournament in Sweden. Helsingborg champion
Peter Ljung (left), wo became the third multiple champion this season (Moor and Finn Lasse Lintilä are the others), cashed 100 points in the EBT 'major' and jumped into fourth position with 351 points.

Stuart Williams, both from England, have positioned themselves atop the leaderboard of the 2006 men's European rankings after the conclusion of the Danish Masters Classic. Moor (right) finished second to widen his lead with 455 total points. Williams (left) leaped into second place behind a fifth place finish with 341.

Moor is back atop the men's European Rankings after Barcelona
European Rankings after 12/20 Events

Two-time defending European ranking champion
Paul Moor from England is back atop the men's rankings after winning the Ciutat de Barcelona in Spain, the 12th event of the 206 European Bowling Tour. Moor earned 100 ranking points for the victory and overtook Jason Belmonte and Osku Palermaa, who were at the World Youth Championships with the Australian and Finnish youth national squads.

No changes atop the leaderboard after Malta Open
European Rankings after 11/20 Events
Jason Belmonte, Australia, and
Britt Bröndsted of Denmark remained the men's and women's No. 1 Europe as only one man and four women from the European top 10 participated in the Malta Open Championships.
Zara Glover (England, pictured), third place finisher in Malta, narrowed the gap to 23 points. Runner-up Helen Johnson, Sweden, moved into third place. Nikolay Ovchinnikovs, Latvia, finished 14th but remained in 7th place in the men's rankings.

Jason Belmonte made history when he received 60 ranking points for finishing fourth in the Aalborg International to become the first non-European bowler to lead the European rankings. The top 8 men and women at the end of the season qualify for the 2007 World ranking Masters to be held in Doha, Qatar. Players from the
Asian and
American Zone and even
professional bowlers can qualify for the WRM through the European Bowling Tour.
