Chicago bowler ends 86th WIBC Championship Tournament

Chicago's Gwendolyn Franklin tossed the shot that ended the 2005 Women's International Bowling Congress Championship Tournament, a United States Bowling Congress Event. Franklin left the 5 - 7 split and came very close to picking it up. The world's largest participatory sporting event for women, the WIBC Championship Tournament attracted bowlers from every U.S. state and Canada, as well as international participants from Bermuda, Japan, England and elsewhere.
