The 8th Mediterranean Challenge Cup was held at Eden SuperBowl in St. Julian's, Malta. Spain (2), Greece (2), Israel (1) and host country Malta (2) shared the gold medals in men's and women's Singles, Doubles, All Events and 4-Player Mixed Teams. Three players - Sue Abela, Malta; Anastasia Rovithaki, Greece; Marcial Ovide, Spain - took home two gold medals each.
