Greece captures gold medal in Team event in Barcelona

Seven countries, Cyprus, France, Greece, Israel, Malta, Turkey and Spain participated in the fifth Mediterranean Challenge Cup in Bowling Pedralbes in Barcelona, Spain. The Greece Foursome of Leonidas Maragkos, Kristina Fotina, Esmeralda Kaltsou and Dimitrios Karetsos claimed the gold medal in the team event, while singles champions Sue Abela of Malta Bertrand Pujol of France secured another gold medal in All Events.
