European Champions Cup starts today

The European Champions Cup (formerly known as European Cup for Individuals) was opened yesterday at the Zelta Bowling Center in Riga, Latvia.

World Youth Masters champion Mads Sandbækken, Norway, the men's leader board after 24 games of qualifying in the European Champions Cup. On the women's side, day one leader Fiona Banks, England, averaged 226,25 on the final day of qualifying to regain the lead and to earn the No. 1 seed for the best-of-three games single-elimination match play finals.
