Oh and Joh Six climb the ladder to win at ABF Tour Philippines leg

Oh Young Ki, Korea, and Tang Joh Six, Malaysia, won their four matches in single-elimination match play to claim the men's and women's title at the fourth stop of the 2007 Asian Bowling Federation Tour in Pasay City, Philippines.
Oh Young Ki (pictured with ABF Honorary President Vivien Fung) sidelined local favorites Jeff Chan (199-142) and RJ Bautista (237-174) in the first two rounds, then eliminated Cyrus Cheung, Hong Kong, 187-149, in the semi-final to bowl Asian Games champion Ryan Lalisang, Indonesia, for the title.
Lalisang (right) posted games of 227, 214 and 227 to eliminate World Championship Masters champion Biboy Rivera, Tyrone Ongpauco, both Philippines, and Jo Nam Yi, Korea to advance to the title match.
The Korean saved his best for the last firing the high game of the event to defeat Lalisang, 257-233, en route to claim the men's title.
On the women's side, Tang Joh Six (pictured with Steve Hontiveros, President of the Philippine Bowling Congress and FIQ President) managed to win the title without a 200-game.
The Malaysian flew past Raniia N., Indonesia, in the opening match, 199-145, then survived a close match against Philippine Open champion Liza Del Rosario, Philippines, 184-182, before she ousted another Filipina, JoJo Canare in the semi-final, 193-180.
Her opponent in the title match was the last remaining of eight Philippine bowlers in the field, Marjo Reyes. Reyes defeated compatriot Elaine Florencio in the first round, 191-160, then posted high scores (246 and 231 to eliminate Kang Hyun Jin, Korea and defending Asian ranking champion Putty Armein, Indonesia, for the right to bowl Joh Six for the title.
The Malaysian bowled a solid game and that was enough to beat Reyes, 198-170, and to secure the victory.
