Mike DeVaney: First Professional Bowler to Sign with a Sports Agency

Professional bowlers are familiar with managing the marketing and sponsorship portion of their careers themselves; this is no longer the case.

Currently ranked in the top 12 on the Denny's PBA Tour Michael DeVaney, of Temecula, Ca, has retained the services of Dynasty Athlete Representation, LLC to handle marketing and sponsorship opportunities to further his career.

"Each season I feel that I am continuing to grow as a player and feel that my best years are in front of me," said DeVaney. During his tenure with the PBA, he continues to be one of the most consistent players on the tour with 14 top ten finishes over the last two seasons as well as finishing in the top 15 in PBA point rankings for the third consecutive season in a row. DeVaney is definitely ready for the challenge to shatter more records in the coming years.

Originally from Escondido, Ca, the self-proclaimed San Diego Padres and Chargers fan has recently become a father with the birth of his son Owen on July 4, 2007. He has donated time and money to many charities close to his heart including; the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and Ronald McDonald House.
