The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has invited its 45 National Olympic Committee (NOC) members to the 2nd Asian Indoor Games. The Games will be staged from October 26 through November 3, 2007 in Macau, China and feature 19 sports including two demonstration sports.

Tenpin bowling is a medal sport featuring three disciplines, Singles, Doubles and Four-Player Teams. The bowling competition will be held in a 24-lane bowling center in the COTAI International Sports Complex in Macau from Oct. 27 through Nov. 2.

Each NOC may send a maximum of 4 men and 4 women with the number of officials limited to 40% of the number of athletes from each NOC.

The 7-day bowling competition consists of
- Singles - 6 games with quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals
- Doubles- 6 games with quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals
- 4-Player Teams - 6 games with semi-finals and finals

The winner of each event will receive the gold medal, while the runner-up earns silver. The semi-final losers will share the bronze medals.

The competition will be held under the umbrella of Fédération Internationale des Quilleurs (FIQ), World Tenpin Bowling Association (WTBA) and Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) and organized by the Macao China Bowling Association General (MCBAG).

ABF president Sheikh Talal Mohd Al-Sabah (pictured left), Kuwait, is the cousin of H.H. Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, who is the president of the Executive Board of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
