Third-seeded Choi Jin-A defeated No. 2 Zatil Iman, Malaysia, 214-191, to capture the gold medal for Korea in Women's Singles in the 2nd Asian Indoor Games at COTAI International Sports Complex in Macau, China.

Hakura Matsuda, Japan, and Yang Suling, China, who lost in the semi-final matches, shared the bronze medal. Suling, who actually failed to make the top 8 in the six-game preliminaries, took full advantage of the rule that only two players per country are allowed to bowl in the finals.

With Jin-A in third position and Gye Min Young as the qualifying leader, 6th placed Kim Yeau Jin's efforts were useless.
