Barrett mowed down the field to win his first career EBT title in Naples
Saldjian lands in 9th place to win the women's rankings
Dominic Barrett (pictured), England, seeded fourth in the five-player stepladder finals in the 4th Oltremare Columbia 300 Open in Naples Italy, averaged 210.60 over five games to beat all four opponents, none of whom managed a 200 game, en route to win his first career European Bowling Tour title and the 8.000 Euro top prize. In the title match against Timo Alho, Finland, the No. 1 seed who must be defeated twice, Barrett won the first game with his sole sub-200 score by a whisker, 182-181, and went on to claim the title with a 206-161 victory in game #2.
Isabelle Saldjian, France, finished in 9th place to win the women's rankings, Osku Palermaa, Finland widened his lead in the men's rankings due to a third-place finish.
