2007 Asian Rankings 

Aussie bowlers storm to the top of the leaderboard in ABF rankings

2007BWCAnnMareePutney_small.jpg 2007BWCJasonBelmonte_small.jpg After finishing 1, 2 in the 43rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Russia earlier this month, women's World Cup champion Ann Maree Putney and men's runner-up Jason Belmonte have positioned them selves atop the 2007 Asian Bowling Federation Rankings.

Belmo leads the 574-men field with 380 points, 33 points ahead of two-time Asian Ranking winner Wu Siu Hong, Hong Kong, 347. Ryan Lalisang, Indonesia, is another 34 points behind in third position with 313.

2007SinaiOpenKimEunJung_small.jpg AMP now has accumulated 335 points and has narrowed the gap to long-time leader Kim Eun Jung (left), Korea, 353, to 18 points. Kim Eun's compatriot Choi Jin A is a distant third among 185 women with 290 points.

The top 8 men and top 8 women at the end of the ranking season will qualify for the 2008 World Ranking Masters at Senayan Bowling Sportainment Center in Jakarta, Indonesia from April 30 through May 6, 2008.
