Bowling Event Rimini ready to roll

Rimini Expo Center in Rimini, Italy (March 13-16, 2008)

2008BERRimini_small.jpg Everything is now in place for the first B.E.R., Bowling Event Rimini, the international bowling trade show to be held in hall A1 of the Rimini exhibition center, organized by Rimini Fiera SpA and Facto Edizioni, and with the backing of FISB, the Italian Sport Bowling Federation and EBPA, the European Bowling Proprietors Association.

The trade show will showcase a full range of proposals for owners and operators of bowling centers, for players and for anyone who wants to make bowling their business or their sport.

Lanes, lane cleaning and conditioning machines, scoring systems, pinsetters, masking units, signs, spare parts, seats, balls and pins… in a nutshell, all types of bowling equipment. As well as services for setting up or renovating centers, a complete range of accessories for bowlers, and complementary products for bowling, such as merchandising, vending machines, mini-bowling lanes etc.

To make it easier for visitors to access B.E.R. (Bowling Event Rimini), Rimini Fiera has set up an online registration procedure to save time. The procedure is simple: those who sign up online will receive a password by email.

This can then be used at the reserved ticket offices at the exhibition. On providing the password, the visitor will receive a ticket, moreover at a discounted price, for admission to the event. Certainly something worth exploiting, both to avoid queues and to take advantage of the discounted price.

A number of interesting seminars have also been organized during B.E.R. (Bowling Event Rimini).

Friday 14 March, at 10.30 a.m., FISB, the Italian Sport Bowling Federation, will present the conference entitled Biomechanics as part of training athletes. The speaker, Nicola Bellini, triathlon coach, will explain how biomechanics is a science that all athletes and coaches can learn a lot from in order to maximize their efficiency. He will then hand over to an FISB federation coach, who will illustrate how this applies to bowling, both for league and recreational players.

Again on Friday 14 March, but this time at 3.00 p.m., a seminar has been organized by EBPA (the European Bowling Proprietors Association). The topic of the meeting will be Russia, the new frontier of bowling. The owner of the Swedish company System 300, and Phil Mison, from England, member of the EBPA committee, will discuss the bowling boom in that country, providing first-hand data and information.

We would also like to highlight that on the same dates, 13 to 16 March, together with B.E.R. (Bowling Event Rimini), the Rimini exhibition centre will also host the 20th ENADA PRIMAVERA, the SAPAR International Trade Show of Amusement and Games Machines, organized by Rimini Fiera SpA with the patronage of the Italian State Monopolies, the backing of Euromat and in collaboration with Ascob, Assotrattenimento, Fidart and Sicon.
