Israeli Men's Team for World Championship 2008 includes Arabic player
The Israeli Bowling Federation has named the six players to represent Israel in the Men's World Championship at SF Strike Bowl Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand from August 20-31, 2008. "The interesting matter is that for the first time we have the pleasure to have an Arabic player in the Israeli National Team," said IBF president Arie Fisher.
"Dr. Muhammad Abed Al-Alatif is a doctor of sport and children, He is 48 years old." Joining Dr. Al-Alatif on the team for Thailand are Israel Taner (58), Yossi Shtrum (52), and three youngsters, 2007 European Youth Masters Champion Aviv Alfital, Ben Fishler and 2007 Israeli youth champion Dor Shpaizman.
