Columbia 300 continues sponsorship of Mini Eliminator

Columbia 300 has once again committed to sponsor the Mini-Eliminator, one of the world's most famous tournaments, and the 2008 Summer Classic. Scheduled for June 30 – July 6, the Summer Classic will offer $42,500 in guaranteed prize money, including a $20,000 top prize and $5,000 for the winner of the Columbia 300 Shootout.

"No other event offers the exposure and opportunity to interact with so many bowlers on a personal level," said Chad Murphy, Columbia 300 brand manager. "Our experience with Pinacle Events and Texas Station has been first-class all the way and our brand is honored to sponsor this event."

Held at Texas Station Hotel and Casino, the Mini-Eliminator Summer Classic is a three game scratch qualifying tournament with a "beat-half-the-field" in your division finals. The tournament will feature four main divisions and guarantees one in eight bowlers in each division will advance to the finals for a minimum of $500, every squad.

The Columbia 300 Shootout will pay out a top prize of $5,000 and one Columbia 300 high performance ball with every $200 entry fee. A second special event, Match Play Sweeper, will offer a $4,000 prize and a one-in-four cashing ratio.
