Slowinski joins Kegel Training Center Staff
Joe Slowinski has joined Kegel to work as a member of the Training Center team. In addition to working as a coach and pro shop technician, Slowinski will be responsible for developing new programs and training materials with the emphasis on supporting high schools, colleges, international teams and their coaches.He will also be collaborating with Training Center staff on the development of a new Kegel Training Center manual designed to teach bowlers the most important elements of the modern game and how-to adapt these critical areas into their own game.
"I am extremely excited to join the world leader in Bowling Education and look forward with great enthusiasm to working as a colleague with the world-class team at Kegel," said Slowinski.
Slowinski joins Kegel after serving as the Director of Coaching and Coach Certification for the National Sports Council of Malaysia, for the past two years. He is also a contributing writer to Bowling This Month in his monthly Slowinski at-large column.
Slowinski brings expertise in team and individual training program development, the utilization of sports science in bowling as well as adapting research to bowling. In recent years, he has developed new methods for improving release variation as well as adapting advanced lane play strategies.
"Along with Joe's passion for helping people, he brings a unique skill set to the Kegel Training Center which will once again raise the bar of bowling education and continue the rich 11 year tradition of learning here in Lake Wales, Florida" said Del Warren, Vice President of the Kegel Training Center.

Slowinski's educational background includes: a BA in Math and Philosophy and a MED in Education Administration. Joe is also a USBC Silver-Level coach, PBA member and an IBPSIA certified pro shop technician with 24 years of coaching experience. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, Slowinski was recognized as a Top 100 Coach by Bowlers Journal International.
