2008 Tournament of The Americas will be a PABCON ranking event

Paulette Watson, Executive Director of the Bowling Tournaments of The Americas Association, has announced that the upcoming Lee Evans Tournament of The Americas will be a Pan American Bowling Confederation (formerly American Zone) ranking event.

Participants in the Tournament of The Americas may pay $25 before competition to put themselves on the ranking list with PABCON.

The 46th edition of the tournament will be held at Boardwalk Entertainment Center in Orlando, Fla. from July 27 through Aug. 2, 2008, following immediately after the conclusion of the World Youth Championships.

This invitational bowling tournament for the PABCON member countries' national teams has four divisions of men and women: Adult, Senior and two Junior Divisions, 12-15 and 16-19 year olds.

"We will be using alternating lanes of long and short oil throughout the 6 games per day in every event," Watson stated. "QubicaAMF will be in charge of our lane conditions this year."
