2008 ESBC 

Almost 800 bowlers participate in 17th European Senior Bowling Championships

Bowl Center - Saint Herblain; EuroBowl - St Sébastien; Petit Port - Nantes, France (June 21-27, 2008)

2008ESBCLogo.jpg A total of 792 seniors (507 men and 285 women) from 18 countries - Austria, Belgium, Catalonia (an Autonomous Community of the Kingdom of Spain, ETBF member federation), Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland - participated in the 17th European Senior Bowling Championships in three bowling centers in or near Nantes, France.

The players divided into three age categories (A = 50 to 57 years, B = 58 to 64 and C = 65 and older) competed for medals in Singles, Doubles, Trios (no age categories), All Events and Masters.

The event was organized by Francoise Augustin, ESBC Presidium member. Paul Douw, Netherlands, was elected ESBC president for three years. The 18th European Senior Bowling Championships will be held at the end of June 2009 in Prague, Czech Republic.
