The Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) do not have the services of two Americans Richard Shockley and Joseph Slowinski any longer.
The lanky Shockley was hired as a consultant on a three-month contract in June to help the men's team for the World Championships.
His contract was not renewed after the men's team returned without any medals from the world meet in Bangkok in August.
Slowinski, who was brought in by the National Sports Council (NSC) as the director of coaching and certification in 2006, resigned in June.
He was working with the MTBC to strengthen the development programme.
The MTBC, however, have hired Singaporean Tony Lim as director of coaching of coaches and his job is similar to Slowinski's.
MTBC secretary Sidney Tung said in a statement on Wednesday that: "He (Tony) will conduct coaching courses, update the curriculums and travel from state to state to upgrade the coaches and to ensure that they implement the correct curriculum and coaching techniques."
