Malaysia sweeps gold medals in Team events

Pearl Bowling Center in Paranaque City, Philippines

Malaysia won the gold medals in both the men's and women's 5-player team event in the 23rd Southeast Asian Games at Pearl Bowling Center in Paranaque City, Philippines.

Daniel Lim, Aaron Kong, Ben Heng, Alex Liew and Zulmazran Zulkifli averaged 226,03 over six games to finish well ahead of the host country and Singapore.

The women's team with Wendy Chai, Esther Cheah, Choy Poh Lai, Lai Kin Ngoh and Zandra Aziela averaged 214,83 to lead the Philippines and Singapore.
