Tom Hess signs with Columbia 300’s National Pro Staff

2015PBAWSOBTomHess2Columbia 300 has announced that Professional Bowlers Association champion Tom Hess of Urbandale, Iowa, has joined the Columbia 300 national pro staff.

Hess, who won the 2011 USBC Masters for his first career PBA title along with eight PBA regional titles, is no stranger to the Columbia 300 brand.

“My very first bowling ball purchase when I was a junior was a Columbia 300 White Dot,” he said. “My first honor score, a 300 game, was bowled with a Columbia 300 Piranha.”

Hess said he is honored to join Team EBI and the Columbia 300 brand specifically. “I’m excited to get to work with the team and see what the future has in store.”

Rob Gotchall, marketing manager – players, promotions and events for Ebonite International, is no stranger to Hess’ abilities and passion for the sport of bowling.

“As someone who grew up in the Midwest, I have been fortunate enough to compete with and against Tom for many years,” Gotchall said. “He has a passion and love for the sport of bowling that nearly goes unmatched and we look forward to him bringing that to our team here at EBI.”
