2018 EBT Women’s Point Ranking after Norwegian Open 2018 by Brunswick (final)

Jenny Wegner of Sweden is the European Bowling Tour women’s point ranking winner for the 2018 season. Wegner collected 719 points during the 12-event 2018 EBT season.

It was the third ranking title for Wegner (featured photo) after 2015 and 2017. She is the third three-time winner, following in the footprints of Danes Britt Brøndsted and Kamilla Kjeldsen.

Mai Ginge Jensen of Denmark, who earned 70 points for her third-place finish in the women’s rankings at the Norwegian Open 2018 by Brunswick, narrowed the gap to 33 pins to finish in second place with 676. Ghislaine Stigter-Van Der Tol, Netherlands, was third with 575.

Rounding out the top 8 who will qualify for the EBT Masters in 2019 are 4. Maxime De Rooij, Netherlands (520), 5. Cajsa Wegner, Sweden (472), 6. Sin Li Jane, Malaysia (454), 7. Daria Pajak, Poland (415) and 8. Siti Safiyah, Malaysia (392).

Wendy Bartaire of France earned 100 points for winning the rankings in Oslo and jumped into 35th place with 139 points.

The 2018 European Bowling Tour featured 12 tournaments in 10 countries including two “platinum”, two “gold”, three “silver”, two “bronze” and three “satellite” events, which offered total prize fund of roughly 625.000 Euro.

The top 50 men and the top 50 women in each event received ranking points. Those points were tabulated throughout the season to determine the top 8 men and top 8 women, who became eligible to compete in the 12th EBT Masters July 4, 2019 during the VII Brunswick Madrid Challenge at Bowling Chamartín in Madrid, Spain.
