For the Dick Weber Championship, an event that included a field of 97 players 60 and older, FloBowling began using six streams covering five different pairs of lanes along with a sixth “FloZone” stream that is similar to DirectTV’s “Red Zone” channel.
A banner at the bottom of the screen includes links to the available pairs of lanes being streamed. The “FloZone” channel provides live commentary by the Xtra Frame announcing team, but the remaining channels provide scoring and allow viewers the opportunity to watch the players in action.
The Dick Weber Championship, presented by 900 Global, concluded today at Pro Bowl West in Fort Wayne, Indiana, wrapping up with the stepladder finals airing live on PBA Xtra Frame on FloBowling at 1 p.m. EDT.
For the upcoming the Go Bowling! PBA Tour events on PBA Xtra Frame in Middletown, Delaware, multi-stream options will be expanded to 10 simultaneous streams.
That means, if there are four players on any given pair of lanes, viewers will have the ability to watch 40 different players on 10 different pairs of lanes during any given game. In Coldwater, Ohio the following week, all eight pairs in 16-lane Pla-Mor Lanes will be live-streamed throughout the event.
Xtra Frame on FloBowling coverage of the 2018 Go Bowling! PBA Tour’s 10th anniversary Gene Carter’s Pro Shop Classic at Mid-County Lanes in Middletown, Del., is set for Saturday and Sunday, with the stepladder finals airing on Sunday at 7 p.m. EDT.
The PBA Xtra Frame Kenn-Feld Group Classic takes place in Coldwater Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 25-26. PBA Tour titles will be at stake in both exclusive PBA Xtra Frame Tour events.
All PBA Xtra Frame events on FloBowling are covered live, from first ball to last. Existing Xtra Frame subscribers need to transition their current subscriptions to FloBowling by visiting https://www.flobowling.com/claim-account. New subscribers can enroll at FloBowling.com.
