BPAA names Bill Supper as Association's Deputy Executive Director

BPAABillSupper_small.jpg Bowling Industry Veteran Bill Supper has been promoted to the position of Deputy Executive Director effective January 1, 2008, according to the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA). Supper has vast domestic and international experience with distributors, pro shops, bowling proprietors and bowlers.  A former PBA Member and well-known in the bowling industry, he served in many capacities at three major bowling manufacturers.

2007 National Bowling Week proprietor "Innovative Promotions" winners announced

2007BPAALogo.jpg Strike Ten Entertainment (STE) and the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) announced The 2007 National Bowling Week (NBW) Proprietor winners for the most "Innovative Promotions" implemented during NBW 2007. Both headquartered in Arlington, Texas, the 75-year-old Bowling Proprietors' Association of America represents the business interests of bowling center owners worldwide. Strike Ten Entertainment is the centralized marketing, management, television and licensing company for the bowling industry.

National Bowling Week is "The Talk of the Town"

2007BPAALogo.jpg SpareZ bowling center in Davie Florida, owned by Proprietors' Association of America president Joe Schumacker is launching a two day extravaganza to kick off National Bowling Week.
This event will include games of bowling, community demonstrations, 15 minute bowling lessons, contests, give-a-ways, fun activities such as face painting and much, much more.

BPAA to honor Proprietors of the Year

Proprietors nominated by State Associations to be recognized at Bowl Expo 2007

BPAA.jpg The Bowling Proprietors' Association of America (BPAA) announces the 17 recipients of the distinguished Proprietor of the Year awards, which will be presented during BPAA's Annual Membership Meeting at International Bowl Expo 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, June 25. Unveiled in 2005, this prestigious award is presented to a proprietor in each state who has been nominated for outstanding contributions to the industry and sport of bowling.

Former Major League Baseball knuckleball pitcher Tom Candiotti rolls his way into Bowling Hall of Fame

Life-Long Bowler and Arizona Diamondbacks announcer is honored as Celebrity Inductee

Former Major League Baseball (MLB) knuckleball pitcher Tom Candiotti has thrown many strikes in his career, but it's the strikes he rolls on the bowling lanes that earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame. The International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame has announced that Candiotti, a radio analyst for the Arizona Diamondbacks and life-long bowler, is the second inductee into the Celebrities Bowling Hall of Fame.

This promotion was held in BPAA member bowling centers across the U. S. DeRolf won a trip for two to Super Bowl XLI in Miami, FL.
