Bowling in front of the home crowd at Sun Valley Lanes and fresh off an NCAA title over the weekend, Nebraska's Kristina Mickelson led the way as the top four women and top four men were determined Tuesday for the 2013 xbowling Intercollegiate Singles Championships semifinals. Mickelson is joined in the women's semifinals by a trio of Wichita State bowlers - Jazreel Tan of Singapore, Daria Kovalova of Ukraine and Tannya Roumimper of Indonesia.

The college bowling season will come to a close next week when national champions are crowned at the xbowling Intercollegiate Team Championships and the xbowling Intercollegiate Singles Championships starting April 16 at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Neb. Defending men's and women's team champions Webber International return to defend their titles.
The field of 24 men and 16 women who will compete for individual national championships was determined Friday at four 2013 xbowling Intercollegiate Singles Championships sectional qualifiers. The Intercollegiate Singles Championships will take place April 16 and 20 at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, Neb. Qualifying for the national finals was held in Allentown, Pa.; Fairview Heights, Ill.; Smyrna, Tenn.; and Las Vegas.
Mobile sports challenge leader xbowling has partnered with the International Bowling Campus to become the title sponsor of college bowling's flagship events starting this year. The multi-year partnership establishes new names for two major championships - the xbowling Intercollegiate Team Championships and the xbowling Intercollegiate Singles Championships. Both events will take place in Lincoln, Neb., this April and the finals will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
The United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Singles Championships and the USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships will be part of a four-week series that will air nationally in May on CBS Sports Network. This is the 12th consecutive year of national television for the team event and the second for singles. Dave LaMont will handle play-by-play, while USBC spokesman and Team USA member Chris Barnes will provide color commentary.
