94th edition of USBC Women's Championships concludes July 1 in Reno

2013USBCWCEaglesEdgeProShop_small.jpgAfter 81 days of competition, the 2013 USBC Women's Championships came to a close at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on Monday. More than 20,000 women took part in the 94th edition of the storied event. Eagle's Edge Pro Shop of Prospect Heights, Ill. (pictured), surged into the top spot in Scratch Team on May 21 with a 3,357 total, the second-highest in tournament history. All scores are unofficial at this time.

2013 USBC Women's Championships kicks off in Reno

2013USBCWCRibbonCutting_small.jpg The 2013 USBC Women's Championships got underway at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center as the first of more than 4,200 teams took the lanes Friday. The 94th edition of the world's largest participatory sporting event for women made its record eighth trip to Reno as bowling fans and local dignitaries cheered on the opening squad that featured 30 teams. The RSCC was transformed from an empty room into a 44-lane state-of-the-art facility in approximately eight weeks.

20130221KingpinClubbyBrunswickOpening_small.jpg A brand new, world-class boutique bowling lounge is now open at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nev., thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Nevada State legislators, downtown Reno casino owners, the city of Reno and Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority. The Kingpin Club by Brunswick, which officially opened its doors on Feb. 21, is a hip, 10-lane venue located on the first floor of the National Bowling Stadium (NBS) in Reno.



Xbowling Tournament Edition adds excitement to USBC Open and Women's Championships
