Johnni Adsbøl of Denmark, who led the second squad with 1323 pinfall total, set the tone on the first day of qualifying. Adsbøl had games of 201, 275, 216, 192, 195 and 244. Squad 3 leader
Lars Nielsen, Denmark, was 61 pins behind to overtake second place with 1262. The top 2 players after Monday's Squad 4 will earn automatic berths into Sunday's finals.
Dane Thomas Larsen (l.) averaged 242.60 in the final round of the Bowltech Aalborg International en route to win his second career EBT title and the 6.000 Euro top prize Sunday afternoon in Aalborg, Denmark. The Danish international started the final round in third place with 1126 trailing leader Martin Larsen (r.) of Sweden by 100 pins. He posted games of 234, 266, 254, 224 and 235 for 2339 total to beat the Swede by four pins.
Four-time PBA champion and PBA Player of the Year contender, Mike Fagan (l.) of Dallas, United States, defeated two-time world champion Clara Juliana Guerrero (r.) of Colombia in the title match, 469-446, to win the 3rd Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open Sunday afternoon at Dream Bowl Palace in suburban Munich, Germany. It was the fifth career European Bowling Tour title for Fagan and the second this season after the Brunswick Euro Challenge in March. 
Colombian national team member Clara Juliana Guerrero (pictured left) posted a 1436 six-game series in the last qualifying squad of the 3rd Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open to lead a group of 48 players into Sunday's finals at Dream Bowl Palace in Munich, Germany. The two-time World Champion and World Ranking Masters winner had games of 245, 246, 257, 214, 177 and 249 for 1388, an average of 231.33, and added 48 pins women's handicap to lead the field of 219 players from 26 countries.
Sean Rash (l.), United States, maintained a slim one-pin lead in the 3rd Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open after the completion of two-thirds of the qualifying squads at Dream Bowl Palace in suburban Munich, Germany. Rash leads the field of 209 players from 26 countries with 1426 total and an average of 237.67. Krista Pöllänen (r.), Finland led Squad 7 on Friday afternoon to jump into second place with 1425 including 48 pins women's handicap.
Five-time PBA champion Sean Rash (pictured), United States, averaged 237.67 in the fifth qualifying squad Thursday evening to overtake the lead in the qualifying of the 3rd Track Dream-Bowl Palace Open. The 29-year-old right-hander of Montgomery, Ill, who has won his second PBA major title in the PBA Tournament of Champions two weeks ago, had games of 279, 226, 228, 202, 246 and 245 to lead the 159-player field from 24 countries with 1426 total. Qualifying continues on Friday, April 27, with Squad 6-8.

Three-time PBA champion Osku Palermaa (pictured left) captured his 12th career European Bowling Tour title when he defeated compatriot Jarmo Ahokas, 214-196, to win the 6th QubicaAMF Open 2012 at Gladiator Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The four time EBT point ranking leader (2007-09, 2011), who finished third in the QubicaAMF Open in the past years, pocketed the received the 6.000 Euro top prize and 100 ranking points, which propelled him into third place in the current EBT men's point ranking.
PBA Hall of Famer Brian Voss (pictured), United States, posted a 1439 six-game series in the eighth qualifying squad en route to move to the top of the leaderboard in the QubicaAMF Open in Slovenia. The 25-time PBA champion, who targets to win his fourth EBT title, fired games of 253, 267, 236, 204, 256 and 223 Friday afternoon at Gladiator Arena in Ljubljana to beat out Frederik Øhrgaard of Denmark for the top spot by two pins. The qualifying winner will receive a 1.000 Euro bonus.

The top six players from the combined standings of the first three days (Squads 1-6) are automatically qualified for the finals if they don't make the first cut (top 30) by qualifying total. Øhrgaard lead the fields the 93-player field with 1437 (239.50).
After a high-scoring start into the qualifying of the 6th QubicaAMF Open 2012 the scoring pace slowed down in Wednesday's Squad 3 and 4. Zoltán Skobrics (l.) of Hungary was the lone player who surpassed the 1300-mark en route to move into tenth place in the overall standings. James Gruffman (r.), Sweden, was second to Skobrics with 1287 and led Squad 4 with 1285 but remained in ninth place with his high series of 1313.
The 6th QubicaAMF Open 2012 got underway Tuesday at Gladiator Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia, with a number of big scores posted by the athletes including one 1400-series, eight 1300-series and three perfect games. Austrian national team member Michael Loos (pictured) led the field of 47 players from nine countries after the first two qualifying squads with 1424 total and an average of 237.22. Qualifying continues on Wednesday with Squad 3 and 4 scheduled for 4 and 8 p.m. local time (CEST).
The 6th QubicaAMF Open 2012 kicks off with Tuesday, April 17, with the first two of twelve qualifying squads at 28-lane Gladiator Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The EBT "Silver" tournament, which offers total prize fund of 43.300 Euro, is the sixth stop of the 2012 European Bowling Tour. After five days of qualifying, 40 players will survive the first cut. In a change for 2012, only four players will advance to the stepladder finals on Sunday to bowl for the title and the 6.000 Euro top prize.
Dennis Eklund (l.) defeated compatriot James Gruffman (r.) in an all-Swedish affair, 247-181, to win his third career European Bowling Tour title in the Croatia Open 2012 Sunday at bowling center 300 in Zagreb. Eklund pocketed 5.000 Euro for the feat, while Gruffman received 2.500 Euro for second place. Russians Andrey Suslov and Alexander Medveditskov, who fell to the Swedes in the semifinals, got 1.250 Euro apiece for third and fourth place.
Daniel Vezis (pictured) of Latvia remained unchallenged during the final three squads on Saturday to win the qualifying of the Croatia Open en route to lead the top 48 into Sunday's finals at Bowling 300 in Zagreb, Croatia. The former European Youth champion, who uses the two-handed style, toppled 1444 pins, an average of 240.67, to lead the 89-player field from 16 countries. The finals will be contested in single-elimination format. The Croatia Open offers total prize fund of 21.000 Euro with 5.000 Euro going to the winner, 
Daniel Vezis (pictured) posted a 1444 series in Squad 7 to overtake the lead in the qualifying of the Croatia Open Friday at Bowling 300 in Zagreb. The two-hander from Latvia started his six-game series with a low game of 212, then fired, 251, 228, 237, 268 and 248, an average of 240.67, to lead the 81-player field from 15 countries into the final day of qualifying. Christian Karlsson, Slovenia, led Squad 8 with 1419 including the tournament's first 300 in game #5. Karlsson moved into second place in the overall standings.
Andrey Suslov of Russia became the first player who cracked the 1400-bar in the qualifying of the Croatia Open 2012 currently underway at Bowling 300 in Zagreb. Suslov used a high game of 289 to raise the bar to 1402 and to lead the 68-player field from nine countries with a 233.67 average. Previous leader Peter Verdnik (pictured) of Slovenia slipped to second place with 1396 and was followed by Jeroen Grove, Netherlands, who led Squad 5 on Thursday evening with 1380. Qualifying continues on Friday with Squads 6-8.
For the third consecutive day in the qualifying of the Croatia Open 2012, a bowler of Slovenia emerged a squad leader as Bojan Kovac (pictured) led the 17 players of Squad 3 Wednesday evening at Bowling 300 in Zagreb with 1345 six-game total and an average of 224.17. His compatriots Peter Verdnik and Nino Stenko, who led the first two squads, held on to the lead with 1396 and 1375. Qualifying continues on Thursday, April 12, with Squad 4 and 5 scheduled for 2 and 6 p.m. CEST.
Slovenian Peter Verdnik (l.) averaged 232.67 in the second squad of the Croatia Open 2012 Tuesday evening to beat out compatriot Nino Stenko (r.) for the top qualifying spot by 21 pins. Verdnik had games of 232, 226, 227, 268, 226 and 217 for 1396 six-game total. Stenko slipped to second place with 1375. Damir Branezac of Switzerland used four games between 211 and 224 and a pair of 240s to leap into third place with 1361.
