Maria Bulanova of Russia defeated qualifying leader and No. 1 seed, Mykhaylo Kalika of Ukraine, 420-413, to win the RedExpress Russian Open Saturday at Cosmik Belay Dacha in Moscow, Russia. The 14-year-old Russian youth national team member (pictured left with her coach Sergey Starchenkov) is the youngest player ever to win a European Bowling Tour title. Bulanova is just the second Russian EBT champion after Ivan Semenov in 2010. She earned the 5.500 Euro for accomplishing the feat.
