Karlsson (r.) rolled games of 204, 235 , 206, 268, 237 and 225 to lead Squad 5 with 1375 (229.17 average). Roos (l.), who was second with 1334, improved by 70 pins in Squad 6 to jump into fourth place with 1404 (234 avg.).

Pedersen had games of 214, 258, 236, 200, 227 and 223 to lead a group of 17 Norwegian bowlers who kicked off the tournament Friday at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo. As a result of a sponsorship agreement with Brunswick, the NO 2013 has increased the total prize fund to 224.000 NOK (currently 27.625 Euro).
