Squad 18 featured total twelve 1300 series and the tournament's second 300 game by Richard Teece (r.) of England, who rolled his 21st perfecto in game five.

Martin Larsen (pictured) became fourth player who surpassed the 1400-mark and made a considerable move toward the top of the standings averaging 238.83 through the six-game round to boost himself from 44th to fourth place with 1433. His compatriots Robert Andersson and Alexander Johansson were second and third wisth distant 1364 and 1361, good for 10th and 12th place overall.

Reigning European All-Events and Masters champion Diana Zavjalova (pictured) of Latvia averaged 234.33 in the first squad on Friday morning (13th overall) to fall mere 13 pins short off the lead in the 12th Columbia 300 Vienna Open. The 2013 USBC Queens winner and 2014 Intercollegiate Singles Champion rolled games of 195, 220, 241, 269, 259 and 222 to become just the second player in tournament who surpassed the 1400-mark with 1406. She added eight pins handicap per game to take over second place with 1454.

Jeroen van Geel (l.) of the Netherlands had a second and first-place finish in the first two squads on Wednesday en route to move into second place in the overall qualifying standings of the 12th Columbia 300 Vienna Open. The Dutch finished Squad 7 two pins behind leader Tanner Spacey (right), United States, on 1281. Another re-entry for Van Geel in Squad 8 paid off as he toppled 1358 pins (226.33 ave.) to win the squad.

Nidiffer became the first player, who cracked the 1400-bar bar, as he rolled games of 236, 240, 274, 214, 267 and 236 for 1467 and an average of 244.50. Nidiffer played in his own league as Novak was distant 132 pins behind to overtake second place with 1335 (222.50).

The 12th annual Columbia 300 Vienna Open gets underway Monday at Plus Bowling in Viuenna, Austria, with Squads 1-3. 243 players, 31 women and 212 men, from 28 countries have registered for the last "gold" tournament of the 2014 European Bowling Tour season. The Vienna Open offers total prize fund of 73.130 Euro or approx. $100,000, 62.900 € for Singles and 10.230 € for Doubles. .

The Norwegian Open 2014 by Brunswick is the 17th stop of the 2014 European Bowling Tour and the seventh out of nine EBT "Satellite" events this season. 197 players from nine countries, 47 women and 150 men, have registered to book almost 400 entries. The tournament will be held from Oct. 3-12 at Veitvet Bowling Center in Oslo offering total prize fund of approx. 29.000 Euro, a 4.850 € top prize and guaranteed prizes for the top 5 women in qualifying.

The winner of ten EBT titles including two "gold" level events this season, fired games of 276, 214, 268, 288, 300 and 275 at A10 Bowling in Berlin, Germany, to break the previous record of 1614, set by his compatriot Osku Palermaa at the 2013 Vienna Open by seven pins.
Jesper Svensson (pictured) of Sweden continued to lead the qualifying in the QubicaAMF German Open 2014 heading into the final qualifying day at A10 Bowling in Berlin, Germany. The two-handed lefty, a two-time European Bowling Tour titlist and the 2014 World Youth Championships Masters champion, leads the field of 150 players from 20 countries, 128 men and 22 women, since Squad 5 with 1481 or an average of 246.83. Thomas Larsen (l.) averaged 245.50 in the penultimate squad en route to win the qualifying of the Chandra Open 2014 Saturday evening at Chandra Bowling in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. The Dane led the 131 players, 118 men and 13 women, from 13 countries with 1473 six-game total. Larsen rolled games of 280, 236, 229, 259, 237 and 232 to beat out defending champion Dominic Barrett (r.) for the top spot by 17 pins.
